    How can i mike vb fast like vbseo.com ?

    Hi,

    i use dialup connexion (yes it still existe ) and i found that vbseo.com is very fast ! (second position afte google.com ... for my connexion of course ) but if it is fast with dialup it will be faster with adsl

    is it your server ? or your vbulletin ?

    (excuse my bad english )

    Hi Romeo,

    One of the many features of vBSEO is 'HTML Code Cleanup' - the software removes comments and compresses the code.

    ie: If you had 2 identical forums on the same server, the one with vBSEO would display faster than the one without.

    Of course, the better the server, the better the loading.

    That only helps on servers that do not have mod_gzip or mod_deflate installed. Which is not many. Most servers already compress the code before sending.

    Set your CSS to save as files, do not turn on gzip settings in vBulletin if you have mod_gzip or mod_deflate installed and get a better server.

    i have vbulletin forum using vbseo,
    and i don't know which better mod_gzip or gzip
    some ppl say that mod_gzip will be better for all your php scripts
    what do you think?
    i want my forum to be fast like vbseo forum
    so what should i do?

    Compress your templates.
    Cache your templates
    Stop unnecessary cron jobs
    Remove several features from guests.
    "Trim down" vb javascript.

    Then, I guess you can install vbseo.
