A Horrible 45 referrals a day from Google

It is insane how pathetic Google is in properly indexing webpages. You would think out of Results 1 - 10 of about 76,700 from mustangevolution.com for . (0.47 seconds) pages they would be able to send me a tad bit more than 45 people a day from their oh so great search engine.

I have been building links to the point of being sick of seeing another directory. I have found my website linked to from other major Mustang websites and all I get is 45 measily referrals from the "greatest search engine in existence."

Yahoo sends me 344!!!! referrals a day with MSN right behind it.

How is this possible. It has been MONTHS and I have seen nothing but crap from Google's serps.

I don't understand it. What am I doing wrong? I am doing everything they suggest I do. I have maintained a google sitemap for sometime now and have gotten no warnings or anything. I feel I am so close to breaking through with my site but Google is the only thing holding me back. I have successfully achieved excellent rankings in Yahoo and MSN for my keywords and to do so in Google would net me huge traffic and earnings.

Google is a mess right now. We all already know that.... My indexed pages are finally back up to 55k or so and I'm getting 1500-2000 referrals/day.

On mine, Yahoo and MSN are way behind at around 50 each.

Google has never ranked me higher than 33 for a given term and that was for one day. 45 referrals is just stupid. A multi billion dollar company because of their search engine can't even get the damn thing to work right.

Well I guess that makes Yahoo and MSN stupid too, since ~45 is the number of referrals I get from them.

I guess so. Yahoo and MSN do not claim to have the best search engine in the web though.

I just want to clarify that my complaint is that I am not Number 1 in google it is the fact that I am no where to be found in the top 150

That is absurd.

What are some of the keyword phrases that are generating traffic for you? In Google vs. MSN vs. Yahoo?

These are exactly the type of searches that can generate a large volume of traffic. If you get ranked even slightly higher with the # of indexed pages you have, I'm sure you will do very well. Let's just hope Google is getting its act in gear.

I understand that the showthread pages are huge in getting traffic but not even showing me out of 150 results for the term Ford Mustang is a tad bit insane

Do you use anything else other than MSN? I don't have it... and when I installed Trillian I didnt install the MSN client part... and have no idea how to add it without uninstalling it.
