Hiding links to guests can create some problem in vbseo ?

    Hi all,
to increase the registrations, i have thinked to hide the links (not the rest of the 3D)to the guests.

This mine choise can cause some problem with vbseo work?

I don't would to decrease nothing.... i mean, i know that hiding the links , these are not indexed in googles results(the links), but i hope that hiding the links don't be losed the general rank too....

Explain better, i don't would that for example, vbseo show a my page with link on the second result of a google search, removing that link, i don't would that this page is showed on the 3th or 4th page of the same google search.

I hope that is more clear, and sorry for my bad english.

    Thank you

Bots are guests. Anything you hide will likely not be indexed. Showing things differently to guests that are human vs guests that are bots is considered cloaking and you will be penalized for this in the SE's.

FORCING registration may increase registration, but all it really does is annoy people enough to click their back button and go to the competition's result next on the SERP list.

    Hi Brian,

I do not think he meant internal links. I think he mean external links, like for example a user posts http://blah.com/pic1.jpg
or a link to a different website.

I saw this on vb.org and I think this is actually a good thing and will not hurt SEO. However, your second paragraph may sound relatively correct but forums needs USERS right? How good is it if that organic traffic just browse and take a free links from the forum?

Having no external link on a separate page is not normal. I would suggest not to use that mod.

Yhea correct, external link, for example
    www.megaupload.com/filejhdbdb
should be great if vbseo will start to integrate something that don't lose the score hiding the links.

    I'm smart right?
