Grabbing the SEO-friendly URL in PHP4

I'm wondering how to pull the generated SEO-friendly URL, and can't really find and answer. In PHP5 I can do it using the get_headers() function to grab the header location of the page, and since vBSEO is encrypted, I'm not sure what the process would be to do this.

Any help would be appreciated, or a link to somewhere where this has been covered since I couldn't find any. Thanks.
