    Google -vs- Yahoo indexed pages

    Greetings,

    I was wondering if everyone else is seeing much larger indexed pages from Yahoo vs Google.

    When I do a search of my domain on Google "site:mydomain.com" I'm seeing like 84,700 indexed pages compared to 303,103 pages on Yahoo.

    What gives? Am I doing something that Google doesn't like or is this the same for everyone else?

    how many pages are indexed in either google or yahoo does not matters at all cause this data is never accurate.

    however, you should be more concerned which of above 2 sends you more traffic

    I just found these numbers odd but yes I do get most of my search engine traffic from Google 10x compared to Yahoo.

    You would just think that it would be the other way around from the numbers or is it that Google just has that much more traffic then Yahoo?

    yahoo has definitly more traffic ? or is the yahoo mail stats additioned to the search engine one ?

    Google and Yahoo both follow the different criteria for indexing of pages.

    Google is the leading search engine, and while most of our customers see much of their growth in Google, I have heard reports of those who instead are listed more prominently in Yahoo.
