    Google Searchspeed dip?

    See the attached screenshot, why the dip in the indexing-speed?

    We got the increase when installing vBSEO sitemap generator and the day before yesterday we installed vBSEO 3.1.0 and it lokks like it was then the graphs started pointing straight down.

    Maybe that has something to do with the increased time spent downloading a page (in milliseconds).
    (that last graph)

    You got a point there, but I think the change is so radical, could it be that it takes google longer to read the additional info it gets with vBSEO.

    Did you remember to set the vBSEO Installed option to "Yes" in your sitemap settings once you upgraded to vBSEO?

    I have vBulletin 3.0.3 so I had to go into the PHP file and it is set to 1

    Still not looking good at all

    Just took this screenshot.

    What could be the cause of this? Or is it that google doesn't update so frequently because it is identical to 6 days ago.

    You have about 20,000 valuable content pages to index, so the crawling spike that occurred covered a good portion of those.

    Let's keep tracking it and see when the growth in crawling activity occurs again. I don't see any cause for alarm at this time.
