google is broken.
run this instead:
domain.com -site:domain.com
that will get a listing of pages that have your text on it, not including your own, hence a link query.
the link:domain query has never worked right.

Unfortunately with domain.com -site:domain.com you also get any instances of anyone talking about domain.com, but not linking to it
