ServInt came through.....great bunch of people, once they had my set up with mst, all it took was some messaging back and forth in there and then they got me all setup and even fixed the bugs on the forum. A+ in my book and highly recommended. Site was moved and improved in under 10 hours.

Update I outgrew Hawkhost in less than 2 months..
My server peaking at 100% and going down often.
I am looking for a VPS server.
I am most likely going with an unmanged vps or even possibly a managed vps to make my life easier.
I've heard great things about Wiredtree..
If I go unamanged I can get better hardware from nfoservers.com and spend a lot less.
They use Internap bandwidth, I hear good things about Internap.

My forum has normally 300 users online with 15 minutes cookie timeout and 300 posts/day. Would EuroVPS VPS800 be powerful enough?

The specs listed sound more than enough.

In reality this VPS was not enough, I have server load 1.5 without vbseo installed.

I have to go to dedicated server now, how about this Jonesolutions offer, would you recommend:

We are sorry but we don't recommend any companies specifically.

However you should note that core-i7 is not a server cpu. It is designed for regular pc's.

I also moved to Servint from Hostgator. Site is running much better now than with HG.

I'm Actually with Hostgator on a VPS level 3,

I have an average of 300 users a day and 30k a visits a month.
I went to hostgator from siteground, the support is very good, they assist on basic things via chat most of the time and you can find a solution pretty fast.
it was perfect until i overtake the 13k visits a month, then Mysql errors timeout start to come too often, and actually i have a lot of error 500 and apache down.

They suggest me to move at least to a level 5, so at this stage for me it is much better to move to servint !!!

My only concern is regarding the proprietary software about virtualization and the missing support chat.
I'm not a system admin so for me i much more important a realtime support instead via ticket.

I'm interested also to wiretree specially for the fact that they have a 24/7 monitoring on uptime of the website, so technically I will not have the nightmare of my website offline.

    So..

based on my actual traffic, (30k monthly) wich one you suggest?

first thing I would suggest before moving is install the Ban Spiders by User Agent - vBulletin.org Forum which cut our usage by turning away silly bots. also set your server load level for a while to 5 or 7 in your VB admin CP.
