My host just isn't cutting it anymore. My forums are around 200mgs and my whole site 1.2g. Any suggestions?
Need speed and uptime.
Thanks

Sounds like you may need to go dedicated...
I know. Trying to avoid it if possible. Cleaning up the old static crap today. I'll still have a large sql db tho.
What's your price range? You can get a solid dedicated server with a reliable company for about $150/month. (Where my site is hosted.)
$150 would be great, but I'd have to wait til my damn ads renew next spring. It's awsome running a football site but the ad revenue only rolls in usually July-August. Did not count on having to switch hosts this year :(

I got extra room on my server @ servermatrix let me know
But how much transfer per month would ya need?
I am sitting on a dual P4 3.2's 1gig of ram with plenty of backbone just look at servermatrix for the specs on back bone we pay around 200.00 per month for our dedicated server
well you can also try your luck at site5 high end plans(redline, multihosting). Its shared but a friend of mine has a pretty big site running over there and with pretty hefty traffic. If you get a good server there thats as good as dedicated.
and best of all its pretty cheap.
Otherwise VPS solutions , you can try solarvps (http://www.solarvps.com/) pretty good service actually and cheap or servint(costlier)
