Is it a good idea to implement vbseo right now?

    Hello...

I would like a sincere answers from the experts running vbseo, expecially developers (if they read these forums)...

The Information Security Forum is up and running two years or so. In the recent weeks I have edited the meta and headings to be more SE friendly.

There are few tens of real visitors per day. Rarely somebody registers and asks something. I am not looking for money, I really would like to help people with what I know, with my knowledge and the knowledge of my colleagues.

I wanted the forum active before buying vbseo... but now seeing that the forum is not so active (I am the only one 20 hours a day online) I am thinking to buy vbseo3.5.

Do you think vbseo will give the right sprint to the forum, or it will not change much the situation?

Please be sincere, I accepts critics

vBSEO is only a tool to help index your content better. You still have limited content, and thus limited possible search landing pages.

With vbseo, and a valid effort to continue to add content all the time, your site will increase in ranks and start converting members better and getting people in there to add more content, exponentially increasing your site's potential.

Keep in mind, you're in a VERY hard niche. There's a million 'webmaster' forums out there, and a few big shots like DP, SP, etc that you'll have to 'take' people away from.

Thanks for your reply... I have a FF plugin that says that I have Page Ranking 1... from 0 to 10.

Is this scale something that we can trust? I mean, a page that is marked as 2 is really for sure higher ranked than a page marked 1?

When I can get rank 2? I have really many links spread on the internet (I know they are not enough), but if a tool can lookup the page ranking, it means that there is some algorithm that says why I have PR1 and not 2.

Pankrank is basically a worthless metric. It has 0 bearing on traffic or worth.
