forum.php to index.php

I would rather when someone clicks the forum tab, for it to go to /forums/

How do I do that?

The easiest thing to do is to rename forum.php to index.php (you will need to renamed index.php to something else first) and then change the vboptions -> forumhome script to 'index'.
You may also need to adjust the vbseoCP Homepage settings under seo functions.

Just remember to do this rename anytime you upgrade VB, as the index file will be over-written.
