Fed up!

I've had this site for a year been doing everything i was suppose to all i get is guest and maybe one new member a month. I really don't know what else to do i've been very patient.

You are in a very competitive niche, with professional sports.

One thing you might want to work on is your presentation. People are used to all the full media experience of watching sports on TV. You should work with your template a bit to remind them of that experience. This will ensure that when visitors arrive, they may be more likely to stick around.

But it also seems like you you have forum topics dedicated to just the NY/NJ teams, then a general one for all the teams. If I am a visitor I would just think I could only talk about those teams.

Also your forums does shout out to me SPORTS! There is nothing to suggest its a sports site when you first hit the page. Just looks like a default stock vBulletin, the blue/black and red doesn't look very well. You also need to get some sport related icons.

The other thing is I can't stand that floating your not registered button, get rid of it. I almost close my browser right away. That to me is a huge turn-off.

Edit: I just saw you had other themes. I would pick the sports one and remove the rest of them for guest.

I can get rid of the floating button and will look for some sports icons. The thing is my mods hate the sports theme. is there a way i can make it to where only guest see the sports theme. It seems like when i try to change the colors or put a theme on it they complain about it and just tell me to be patient but i know its not enough, so i kinda need a way to make things for just guests to see and get interest.

You can use the sports theme as default style and allow your members to change the styles. This way anyone who doesn't like the sports theme can change the style and guests will see sports theme at front.

as an example I have 5-6 styles. 1 custom template, which is used as default, and 5 other templates all child templates from the vb template, so adding modifications to templates, i only have to modify 2 templates in total.

Almost everyone loves my new template, but if they don't they can choose one they do like.
