Lightbulb Easy SEO for vB

This is a sample posting provided to demonstrate the vBSEO "acronym expansion" feature when enabled for URL rewriting only (it could also be applied to all text output as well).

Note that the title of this thread is "Easy SEO for vB".

However, the filename of the URL is:

/easy-search-engine-optimization-vbulletin-75/

Without acronym expansion, the filename of the URL would be:

/easy-seo-vb-75/

I'll leave this thread here as a placeholder for a more comprehensive posting on the topic that will be added later.

Juan

Update...

*disregard the _'s

We are no longer expanding the "SEO" acronym for "Search Engine Optimization" in the URLs. We are now expanding "_vb_" for "vBulletin" in the URLs as well as in the content.

Our current expansion list is:
Quote:
_pr_ => 'Page Ranking'
_vb_ => 'vBulletin'
_se_ => 'Search Engine'
...and is being applied to both, URLs and content.

There is a limitation though, I cannot comfortably use the acro for my country, PR

Re: Easy SEO for vB

Maybe because people search more with the query 'SEO' than the full phrase, it makes sence then to leave it as an abbreviation.
