Hello,
this is a screen shot from google webmaster tools to show the problems in my forum. As you see from the screen shot there are a lot of Duplicate title tags and Duplicate meta tags that generated by VBSEO, how do I solve this problem??

What are example URLs with duplicate titles/metas?

all of them are "View Single Post" pages.

You should modify SHOWPOST template to avoid that, since vBSEO does not modify your <title> tags.

i also have duplicate title tage and meta tag
do you this this is the reason that give my forum bad position in google?
my forum was showing the first and second page of google for very much keywords and threads

and i always notice that my site show again in google for about 1 hour at night and then show of again for these keywords !!
what can i do to get my site back to google?

It is good to have different title/meta tags although I can't say how much impact does it have in your case.

I have been getting the same problem. I was wondering how you fixed this? What did you modify? Or how would you fix this? I am open to all advice

I have the same problems, there is a chance that someone can explain how to fix it please?

Fist of all you should click on "Details" in Google webmaster account to find out which exactly URLs are reported as "duplicate titles", then you will have to modify corresponding template to create different for those pages.

missing title tags=10
duplicate title tags=4974
i dunno what to do in this
but if the thread have about 4 pages or 7 pages google counting it as duplicate!

I have this errors but which templates i need to edit?

Meta description issues

Duplicate meta descriptions 1,513

Short meta descriptions 3,568

Title tag issues

Duplicate title tags 2,820

If you click "Duplicate title tags" link, you should be able to see "Pages with duplicate title tags" table with exact URLs that are reported.

yeah but you will notice that some threads have 7 pages and google see it as duplicate title tags,while all forum have threads with some pages
