In Google's Webmaster tools I used their Content Analysis tool and discovered that I have 7 pages with the same meta description. All pages are in the "blogs" section.
Anyone know if this is a big deal and if so how I can fix?

it's just a wanring to let you know, not an error.
it's a known issue, and a probablem with vbblog, not vbseo.
