    Duplicate content question

    my forum Recipes and Food & Cooking Forums - Recipebite.co.uk (Recipe Forums) has a 'not so usual' homepage, and I was wondering if anyone would know if i would be panellised for duplicate content if I added another page to vb,

    lets say index_2 that looked like the usual index page that vb comes with, then put a link to it so people could choose the layout they prefered to use on my site ?

    the reason i ask is because of the list of forums names, they would be the same on the other index if you see what i mean

    thank you

    I personally think is is very good that you have the links to all your sub-forums on the homepage.

    If it's a different style, then you can just let them use the style chooser built in to vBulletin.

    If it's the same style, with the same info and slightly different layout, then I'd advise choosing one that will work for everyone and stick with that.

    thank you

    i am really having a try with optimising this site and i can not work out

    <!--VBSEO_RR_2-->

    what is for and how do i use it ?

    i have content changing all the time on my index page , can I use that to make it so it takes the keywords from my blog titles and featured threads and forum names or is that too much ?, so the index page keywords are always relevant to the content on the page.

    i don't know if that's a good idea, but if you could advise please

    thank you

    i have seen that and done the steps 1-4, but i am unsure if i can do the same sort of thing to my index page, and if i can because i dont have the 'standard' index page + what should be showing on the index page if it is possible

    Right. Actually our RRs are only available for thread and sub-forum display pages.
