Duplicate content after setting www. as preferred domain.

Hi 1 month ago I set my preferred domain name as www. in google webmaster tools, I a then already had over 1500 indexed pages on NON www. Some content are still indexed as NON www. If i enter any of these contents from google, my website doesnt change the URL from NON www. to www.

so I can view content from my website in www. but also with NON www. from google....

I still have 1500 indexed pages on NON www. and only 120 on www. What should I do?

You likely have this in your .htaccess file:

#RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www\.yourdomain\.com
#RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.yourdomain.com/forums/$1 [L,R=301]

Replace that with:

RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www\.onlydesigned\.com
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.onlydesigned.com/$1 [L,R=301]

And all the incoming non-www traffic will redirect to www version.
