Unhappy Domain name changing for the 3rd time !?

    Hi

i have some questions please about changing domain names and redirecting effect on the SEO and ranking of forums,

in 2008 i had created my phpbb3 forum (www.firstforum.com), then in 2010 i had changed the domain name but this time i used vbulletin4+vbseo and i had successfully redirected all trafic to the new one (www.secondforum.com).

now i want to change again the domain name (www.thirdforum.com) of course i am using vbulletin4+vbseo², i think no probleme will be because i will not loose any trafic (redirections).

my question please is the next, is that changes on domain names will affect the seo/ranking of my new thirdforum.com ? and what i should do after changing this LAST domain name ?

thank you vbseo team you are doing a best job with this great script

We don't advise that many domain changes as each domain change will reset your rankings.

Assuming you are keeping the same database, you can simply park the old domain on the new domain, and make sure you have your redirects in place as per:
[How to] Setup www.yourdomain.com or yourdomain.com (www vs. non-www) - With .htaccess 301 redirects - vBulletin SEO Forums

If you've change the DB at all, it's a manual effort.

Still, as Mert points out, you'll still be starting over from day 1.
