Domain Decision, what would you choose?

Hello,
I just started my site and wanted to see what you think about the domain name, which overall would be best for search engines and on top of that easy to remember, just want to see an outside opinion about this other then mine :}

The site I have now is under domain: ARadarDetector.Com

Obviously it is a .com extension which is good as most people know the .com extension, it is keyword rich...and domain tells you what the site is about...

Other domain I noticed that was available is: ARadar.Net

its a .net...not as popular as .com...but very short...and easy to remember...but not specific like other name that has Detector in it...so what kind of radar I am thinking?

Also the domain: ADetector.com

Personally I would stay where you are at, and park your other domains.

agreed. a .com is worth 44324234 times that of anything in a .net, especially if you don't own the .com of that .net

.Com is the most popular and if I didn't remember if this site is .com or .net or .org My first try will be site .com and the second .net and the 3rd is .org
So I'm also recommended .com

.com is the way to go. I just had a similar experience couple months ago when I started YamahaForum.net and then I got lucky with the .com! since i switched to the .com things started looking much better. Although the website is pretty new, I think the .com has a better potential of growth.

Which do you guys think is better as between the two, a dictionary word .info or a second best .com?

For example, cars.info or johnnyscars.com (since cars is taken)?

Do you think it would be easier to rank higher in search engines for cars with cars.info?

.com, always. info's are 99% spam/scrapper/mfa sites. i'd never put a legit site on one.

My site is on a .info domain from the begin. later the .org and .eu came avalible and i registred them to. (.com and .net are already taken)

Is it a good idea to switch to .org or .eu?
All url's need to be indexed again.

I also must say, i never had that traffic boost that i expected from vbseo.
