    Disable parsing in certain templates

I am running vB with vBAdvanced as my front end.

I also show text link ads (automated) in a block on my vBA homepage.

I had to disable nofollow so the TLA links would get juice.

Unfortunately, this means my forum is leaking PR like crazy, and I've gone from a PR5 to a PR3 in 1 year despite adding more backlinks!

Is there a way to disable nofollow on the vBA page only? A way to turn off vBSEO parsing between

<!-- vBSEO IGNORE START HERE -->

    Links

<!-- vBSEO IGNORE END HERE -->

    ??

    Any help would be appreciated.

You can add this parameter to the links if you don't want vBSEO to touch those: rel="novbseo"

Also, take a look at this, related to PR: Understanding Google PageRank Versus Pure "Link Value" - vBulletin SEO Forums

PR is mostly useless these days.

Ok, well they are autogenerated by a script, so I don't know if that will work. I'll see. Thanks.

Not if you are selling text links. You're paid by Alexa, PR and demand for links. PR is a big part of financing my forum.

Just tried it, I'm on vBSEO 3.0 didn't work.

Is this (rel="novbseo") a newer feature?

If I can't afford my server, my Google rankings are the least of my concerns. Google SERPs don't pay the bills unless you can monetize for them. On a non-commercial site, that is easier said than done.
