Question Define Homepage Aliases - please help

I installed vbseo a few weeks ago and it's been fantastic so far. This past week I installed vbadvanced. I've been working on getting vba set up and I have now renamed some required pages.

Before vba went live my forum url was http://www.mysite.com

Now since vba is live my actual forum url is http://www.mysite.com/forums.php and index.php is now pointing to vba.

In the vbseo settings I turned off the "Force Forum Root As Homepage?"

Do you guys think I should mess with the "Define Homepage Aliases?" I'm not sure what to do here? Also any other help/settings you think I should change now that I'm using vbadvanced.

    Thanks!

You only want to have 1 version of your homepage. If it's accessible from multiple different paths, it's duplicate content and causes you to lose link consolidation (link consensus).

It depends what your actual homepage is.

if .com/ is your homepage, you should put index.php and index.php? in there.
if .com/content/ is your homepage, you should consider changing the CMS parth to your full web url http://www.site.com/ and then the homepage aliases are not needed (as vbseo will automatically force / to load your cms without any 'script' in the url.
if .com/forum.php is your desired homepage, you should use forum.php and forum.php? in the aliases block.
