About LinkBacksYesterday while I was upgrading to vb 4.1.7 a fatal error occurred which forced me to delete my database. Now I have a lot of links from my deleted threads in google. How do I redirect those 401 links to my main page,or will google automatically take those out on there own.

ALWAYS make a backup before doing an upgrade.
missing threads will automatically 404. There is nothing that should be done to change that.
