We purchased a new skin recently for our main forum which has a collapsible sidebar featured on every page. The sidebar currently display a user info, recent thread titles and a few ad links.
My question is... Could this sidebar cause any trouble with SEO? And if so please advice what could be done to prevent any possible harm to our forum pages ranking?
Any advice much appreciated!!

Ok, I used rel='nofollow' for the javascript generating "recent threads" links and rel="nofollow" for all other ad links displayed on the collapsible sidebar.
Should this be sufficient?
