Exclamation CMS article Vs Forum post (in terms of value for SERPS - with value)

I have doubt and want to know views of fellow webmasters on the basis of their experience. What I need to know is that if I write article something ..

If I post it as article in CMS .. will it have same value or more value if I post it as post in forum ?

Thing is that, before CMS, I was posting things in forums and they were ok, I had plan to move to drupal but then VB released CMS (and I regret I opted for vbcms) .. anyways... as forum vb is quite mature.

So, should continue to write important things in forum as post or use CMS instead..

What will be their value to serps ..

    Kindly advice..

I don't see how one can be better than the other, given the same content. The CMS is still a little rough around the edges, so the forum my do a little better right now. Come 4.2 or even vb5, that may change and you would wish you put it int he correct spot.

So, IMO, if you are writing articles, not starting threads, and are using the cms, you should put them in the CMS.

    Great advice Brian.

I do mainly articles on my site and it seems to be working pretty decently so far from what I can tell, however I hope that vbulletin can get the CMS more fine tuned sooner than later.
