Essentially, eBay will run AdWords on its site exclusively.

It is somewhat unclear as to how the deal is structured regarding "Click-to-Call". Hopefully, it will not result in eBay saturating AdWords distribution at a cost that other online advertisers cannot compete with.

Notes on vBSEO
  • vBSEO is an AdWords advertiser and occasionally uses eBay auctions to launch special promotions.
For Discussion
  • Will Google and eBay's close working relationship allow Google Checkout to be adopted by eBay?
  • Will you invest in "Click-to-Call" advertising? How can it be leveraged for forum marketing?
  • Will eBay be a high converter for your AdWords campaigns vs. Google search result listings or other AdSense publisher sites?
