About LinkBacksI am thinking about broadening my site's niche and have been considering to have the new domain a .cd type ( it's a music site so it's perhaps fitting ). Are there any downsides to having a .cd domain versus a .com domain

most people never heard of it.. that's the major issue with neat domains like .fm and .us etc...
.com is and will always be THE first type in of every human in the USA. That may differ in other places, like .co.uk might be the #1 entry for the british.
