can google crawl private forums?

Is google able to crawl private forums ?
Will it show up in google search?

I have section which is visible to all on forumhome but the contents can only be viewed by registered members. My concern is that because only registered users can view this forum, it might never show up in google search as google might not be able to crawl it.

Google cannot crawl private pages , i advise you not to show that forum on forumhome for guests.

I decided to do away with it. Made them all public so google can now crawl it. I edited the bbcode so that only registered users can see the links posted as code. I hope that wont affect the crawling.

Are you gonna let your users know? Or wait I guess a visitor from google could not see whole pm message or could they?

Let my users know what? I did not make any personal info private. Just one section of my forum which required users to login to view content. I changed it so that unregistered guests can now view it. So now it will get indexed in google.
Btw google cannot see private messages.
