Burst in traffic after google instant?

Anyone else here seen an increase in traffic after google introduced "Google Instant?" My forum went from an avg. 9k a day to 12k a day in just the past week and growing!

instant didn't change anything other than the display with an ajax call... it really shouldn't have effected any traffic levels, plus or minus.

Thanks for the reply. Though, I'll have to disagree with your assessment because there are many sites reporting both growth and decline in traffic these past couple of weeks.

If you go to "Google News" and type "Google Instant Traffic" you will see a bunch of results confirming this. Google definitely knows it's users psychology and are taking advantage of their resources. I was just wondering how my fellow forum admins are faring.

Have you checked Analytics that it is definately coming from Google? I've recently had a boost, but it's coming from Yahoo(bing version).

Yes it's definitely Google. Search referrals increased by 3000. @.@ Here is a screenshot...

School's back in session. I always see a bump from the school year.
