    Best way to setup site on new domain and redirect old domain to newer

    Hello,

    I want to setup site on new domain www.xyz.in and 301 redirect via htaaccess file [as i did for XYZ Consulting to www.xyz.com earlier via htpaccess file] http://xyzk.in to www.xyz.in.

    And redirect www.xyz.com to www.xyz.in and url hide feature which wont show users .in domain in url box who enter www.xyz.com but redirect them to .in


    Can u tel me simple and best way to do that?

    And may i know how many days/months it'll take to regain original traffic?

    will it decrease my traffic via search engine and SEO & rank?

    If yes, how much time it will take to gain similar traffic again?

    There is no way to tell how bad you will be affected, or how long it will take. All of those variables depend on Google.
