Best VB Plugins

Beside VBSeo plugin what are the other best VB plugins we should consider for a new forum. i.e: a wordpress has related posts feature which increases google crawl rate by displaying random posts into pages.

Please share your experience.

thanks for letting me know the first 3 links.. I am already using complete vbseo set

I also advise Gars ( The vB Geek - Powered by vBulletin ) , it allows you to turn your forum to a cms system

Do you mean we can replace wordpress with vb geek.. if so thats excited feature for me!

With Gars , you can turn defined forum sections and threads to a new look . For example :
Pink Floyd Biyografiler can give you an idea.

Do you mean passive video? I tried searching for passiveVid and couldn't find the exact phrase...

looks like .org pulled it to the graveyard for some reason. not sure.

I think people were complaining that it wasn't supported.

I have one vb forum which gets approx 80+ spam posts.. I am very tired I have used one touch spam block but it doesn't seem working for me. I am using vb 3.6.7

for spam i use a combo of things.

1) new users group with auto promotion. new users <15 posts can't use pm, sigs, avatars, etc.
2) Prevent Spam Posts - vBulletin.org Forum with an ever-growing keyword list.
3) a custom product that shows an alert to mods/admins that there are threads/posts in the mod queue. If you use the mod queue for staff talk, this won't be worth it at all to you as it will always pop.

Might want to upgrade. vB 3.7+ uses recapcha which also works great.

With my above mod I have not had 1 spammer, and I do not use any other mods.

I block around 40 known spammers a day, most on IP address that are listed as official spammers and about 10 or so on email or username.

Try it, you will not get spammed again!
