backlinks

hi, if i find a site with vbseo, can i link back to there threads? like will this create back links for my forum?
just say amother site and i keeped linking back to a heap of threads would that help my forums back links and get a higher ranking on google?

IMO, It's not feasible.
The links would appear only if the other Forum Admin there manually 'approves' your trackbacks / linkbacks.

so if the admin of the other site and i agreed to do this would they be classed as back links?

IMO means In My Opinion...
Well, backlinks, links exchanges are form of link building... Both parties must have link on each others website to consider as backlinks when crawled by spiders.

but as i asked above, if i linked my threads with another forum with vbseo, and that other forum linked back to the threads on my site, would it be classed as back links?
