Automatic long tail search traffic plugin - thoughts?

On vBulletin.org, there is a plugin available that increases long tail search traffic automatically. When you search on google and land on a forum with this plugin installed, it automatically saves the search keywords and places them at the bottom of the page so that next time google scans it, google will see the keywords and increase page position.

What does vbseo think of this? It seems to have helped my forum out. Is there a reason vbseo hasn't implemented a similar feature?
