the number of threads per page in archive is defined in vB admincp->Options->Search Engine Friendly Archive

If you change that setting to 100, it will ony show 100 links per page. Do you mean something else?
Yes, if I am setting up 100 links per page, it makes
5000 topic links / 100 links per page = 500 additional page links
500 page links + 100 topic = 600 links which appear on all the pages.
do you get the problem now ?

i saw changes made on few forums but now no more there. if someone has a solution for this it would be great.
