About LinkBacksMy forum currently doesn't allow this it allows them to see the threads but not the actual content of them. To really let vBSEO do its thing should i allow guests to view content of the threads?

Yes. Bots cannot see the threads if the guests cannot either. I would definitely open up some of your forums to the public.
