Adding forum links to my home page

This is what my home page is about right now: a list of latest threads and a list of popular threads.
The total amount of links in the home page is like 45.

I want to add a link to each one of my forums on the homepage, as a drop down menu so I can pass more pagerank to them.
The problem is I have 79 forums.

79 + 45 = 124

I don't think Google will like the fact I have so many links in one page.
But I do want my forums on the front page.

What can I do about it?

Google recommends less than 100 links per page.

Why not just highlight main sections?
