Well, I'm not sure what's going on here.
I haven't gone through the entire .htaccess file yet, since I assume there is a common issue I'm up against here.
I had vB 3.7.4 Patch Level1 installed and working fine. The forum has no member yet (luckily!). I went to install vBSEO. I went through the steps and it installed.
I also installed the vBSEO plugin. It appeared at the top of my navigation menu in my adminCP in vBul.
So... I went in and looked at some settings. I changed two settings... one was to "display social bookmarking" and the other was to "display social bookmarking icons for blog entries." That's it.
I hit "save" and got a 500 error - for the first time.
Next, I went into my vB main front page... 500 error again.
I then blew out the old .htaccess file in my forum home directory and replaced it with a new one from the install package. Still a 500 error when trying to access vBSEO through the plug-in.
Now, by some miracle, I have no 500 error at all.
Was it the displaying of social bookmarkings for blogs? Because now that I'm back into the vBSEO control panel (using a fresh .htaccess), that has been disabled.
Does anyone know why I was getting that error, based on my actions, or do I need to dig deeper?
