you an create a "Custom 301 Redirect" entry in vBSEO CP e.g.:
Then submit www.domain.com/short-url/ and it will be redirected to www.domain.com/forum-title/thread-title-XX.htmlCode:'short-url/' => 'forum-title/thread-title-XX.html'

Hello to everybody,I'm new here
Great thread indeed.
Anyone using Twitter sharing successfully yet? ( with url shortening built in )
Tried the "twitthis.com" plugin as suggested by someone on previous page but didn't quite work out...Twitter is HUGE and #1 referring site for me currently ( without any plugin )
Any help would be highly appreciated. This is crucial to me.
I'm interested in putting a 'tweet this' button in as well. This mod doesn't put the button quite where I'd need it. Maybe I can just modify it and put the button in manually:

Social Bookmarking Links Thread
Does anyone know if there is a way to look up links that have been added via the social book marking mechanism to see if users have been using them?
I think this is a VERY good point actually. If vbseo team could add an option in vbseo cp for social bookmaring thread link format that would be great.
We can then define /~[threadid] (eg. mysite.com/~29222)
This will then of course be redirected via 301. I dont think this is too much of a big ask really - if a social bookmarking thread format is defined then it could be used for all social bookmarks.
Does this make sense?
