Brian, I think I found the problem now. The custom_404 template was only made for the vBulletin4 default style. I created it for my other style now and it seems to work. Can you please just confirm it?![]()

You will need to make the custom_404 template for EVERY active skin you have.

Anyway thanks.

Is there any way to get Facebook Connect to load the registration page when at the 404 page? Right now, it does not work.
Hi all,
It doesn't seem to work for me:

Can you please help me?
Thank you!
Your path must be wrong. it's trying to load /admincp/ folder. If you got the patch from php info int he admincp, you obviously need to back it down that directory.

Hello Joseph, welcome to vBSEO community!.
I offer again an apology for the delay in giving you an answer.
Can you please try the following template edit: Create a Custom vBulletin "404 Page Not Found" Page, and direct vBSEO to use it.
It is working fine for me on my test environments. If still doesn't work, please feel free to create a support ticket with Admin CP / FTP login details for investigation.

Hi
I use the last vbseo and want to use a specific 404 page wich in root of my website, outside of the forum folder.
I try to use directive in forum folder in the htaccess but doesn't working:
ErrorDocument 404 /error404.php
Instead i got a blank page with : Page not found
How to work my specific 404 page for VB ?
Thanks
Bye
The easiest thing to do is to copy your root template into the vb template and use it as outlined here. vbseo can only power the folder it is in and lower, not above it.
