    WindowsBBS.com vBSEO report

OK, I've installed vBSEO a month ago now. I had been running with the vBSEO Sitemap for a few years, so I already had lots of pages indexed.

Around 3 weeks after installing vBSEO my traffic started to increase. Nothing dramatic like 50% or so, but still, a steady increase:

    (Unique Visitors)
    7/20-7/26: -8.64%
    7/27-8/02: +21.93%
    8/03-8/09: +4.96%
    8/10-8/16: +6.91%

An increase of 25% since installing vBSEO!

I attribute the 1st drop to the removal of duplicate pages, I 'lost' some 435,000 url's from my sitemap (not that those where all indexed in Google, I had around 274,000 pages indexed, currently around 216,000).

In July (14-31st), this is what my search traffic looked like:

    google (organic) 188,094 90.26%
    yahoo (organic) 2,786 1.34%
    aol (organic) 992 0.48%

August (till the 16th) looks like this:

    google (organic) 281,293 86.86%
    msn (organic) 7,807 2.41%
    live (organic) 7,210 2.23%
    yahoo (organic) 3,154 0.97%

I'm happy I decided to get vBSEO!

Yup Also interesting to note that I got nearly 100,000 more visitors from Google despite having some 58K less pages in their index.

Yes - duplicate pages take up space and reduce your crawling efficiency, but they *do not* help with boosted traffic.

So now that vBSEO has eliminated all that duplicate content, you're running a lot more efficient.
