    Hello George,

It very much depends on spiders themselves. Did you install/submit the vBSEO Google/Yahoo sitemap? That will help too.

In the mean time, I'd focus in 1) building relevant incoming links (you can try using the LinkBack features in vBSEO for that) and 2) generating more quality content.

Spiders will come if these elements are present.

That hack is for 3.5.x, I'm on 3.6.x

    Code:
    1) building relevant incoming links (you can try using the LinkBack features in vBSEO for that)
I have it enabled and I already approved 3 outgoing linkbacks, do I need to do anythign else, maybe tweak some settings or something?

    Code:
    2) generating more quality content.
    I already have that

I have installed it, now do I need to run anything anymore or will do it the job automatically?
And what does the sitemap exactly do?

Here's some info from Google on sitemaps: https://www.google.com/webmasters/si.../en/about.html

Basically, it generates a list of all the URLs on your site each night, and submits those to Google so it can more efficiently spider your site.

You should set up a free Google Webmaster account so that you can track your site a little better.

did you see what I said about backlinks ?

I just bought a few PR6's this last week, and several PR5's and I've had spiders on my site almost constantly

I had some b4, for several reasons, but I have seen an increase and constancy since the new backlinks.

Yes I saw what u said about the backlinks, my users are submitting threads to digg.com and furl.com and some guests/spiders are visiting our forum but that's it nothing more.

What do you mean by PR6 and PR5?

My forum is still lacking the spiders activity, even though I've done everything so far.

    Did I miss anything here?
Did I miss a configuration or something?
Cause I'm not receiving spiders to my site even though I have many many many threads and alot of RSS feeds.
