All potential spammers, mostly Russian. 90% of welcome emails bounce back as unknown email address.

How many are you getting?

About two a day. Some try again on more bogus emails, because I blocked the last one.

I would not worry about 2 a day. Every forum gets this type of activity.

check out vb.org and get the "no spam!" add-on. Or when you upgrade to 3.7, a better verification system will be built in.

yup I agree No-spam addon with good questions is simply not breakable

I was getting 2-3 a day on my site, when I added the no spam add-on it stopped right away. Havn't had a single one since and all I had it say was to type in the URL of the website in the box.

2 a day? you're lucky

We get about 30-40 new registrations every day and at least 15 are spam bots from russia.. see if you can find a pattern in the way they are signing up. I have even moved to banning all .ru extensions for signups, small IP rangers and are particulary aware when I see something like mail.org.
