    Very short testimonial...

I purchased vbseo late Oct. and instantly has an increase in Yahoo and MSN bots. Google did not show up until around the 4 week mark and now is a regular every couiple of days on the site. I currently have around 400k posts and 18k members and today have had 861 googble bots in wihch 460 visited showthread.php. I just wanted to share with everyone my experience and let those who have just purchased to give it some time. Be patient and they will come

Also would like to add that i did see a drop in the nuimber of pages indexed (probably duplicate content) but that is slowly coming back and last week I had over 10k pages indexed in less than 48 hours.

I will soon but here is another update. My board started with around 700 pages indexed, jumped to 11k in about 4 weeks (although the jump happened in 48 hours with Google) and today I woke up to find 101k pages indexed. Needless to say, I'm thrilled right about now.

    Update:

Not a good one. They bascially took all those pages away and now I am at 12,900 pages indexed. I am higher than I was before but nothing like 90k pages higher. They are teasing me and it hurts. lol

It varies depending on which Google server you hit at any given time.

Yeah, I was at 13,000 this morning then 12,900 but to drop from 101,000 to 13,000 makes you scratch your head.

    hehehe....

Those peaks and values are BD results and non BD results. The majority of the content now is new....

And I would also like to add that majority of last year had guest viewing locked out so I had almost nothing indexed as I was concentrating on other projects at the time. Now as you can see, with the help of vbseo, the result of optimizing your SEO. Traffic in the last 3 months is up considerably

    A little update....

As many have experienced my indexed pages have tanked in the last week. Half of the DC's are showing supplemental pages from this time last year (total of 25,900) and the other half show around 900k indexed and I can't find any supplemental results. Supposedly they are updating to 64 bit machines and have to almost purge everything and re index everything and this is the reason for the heavy spidering and supp results for many people. Makes sense.

    Now the good part....

PR has been increased by 1 (3 to 4 now on most DC's). SERPS have increased big time. I am now 1st for a keyphrase that gets 15 million results, 6th for one that gets 50 million results, and 5th for one that gets 9 million results.

Its been a very straight forward process. Buy VBSEO, install sitemap, do some onpage tweaking (the most time consuming) and GET LINKS.

Sound familiar? TD2MAN has suggested this in his articles and he is right. I read it, did it, and now seeing the results.

What is SEO - three parts to it
    • the site mechanics correct = vBSEO
    • the onpage optimization correct = your work, plus help from vBSEO
    • getting links

Thank Joe! And to make it better, it wasn't a PR4, but PR5!
