vBAdvanced CMPS

I originally did not have a homepage when I set up Google Analytics and set it up to collect data at www.yoursite.com/foum. I have since added a CMPS at www.yoursite.com.

I do not see a place in Google analytics where I can change the path from "/foum" to "/"

1. Should I create a new profile for www.yoursite.com and use both?

2. Should I disregard and leave it alone as I am really only concerned with forum traffic?

3. I have only had Analytics for a few weeks. Should I create a new profile for www.yoursite.com and point vBSEO at that account?

Generally you use one analytics tracking number per website. Then just filter through your analytics stats to find sub directories like /forums /etc.

I don't think the name matters, meaning you can probably just use the same code at yoursite.com as you are on yoursite.com/forums but I'm anal enough I would probably just create a new analytics site and just use the new one. heh.

All in all, i would try to avoid by all means using multiple analytics tracking numbers on your site.
