Looking sharp, BrentWilson.
I am monitoring quite a few hotrodding sites (including a number of Mustang sites) via this list. Most of them seem to be clueless about SEO. Nice job.
Listings and promotion for hot rod and muscle car websites: The Crankshaft Coalition
Yea I have not found another Mustang forum that uses modrewrite or even attempts any kind of SEO
One thing I've noticed about automotive forums is that many of them are not "in the loop" when it comes to SEO.
Automotive knowledge and web knowledge seem very disparate. You rarely meet someone who is very knowledgeable about cars, and savvy about the internet. It's partially an age issue. I'm sure that similar situations exist for other disciplines of knowledge.
BTW, I just received your submission to the Master List of Hotrodding Forums. I've added Mustang Evolution Forums.

In a way, it's the same for sites in my category. From what I've seen, the owners of motorcycle related forums aren't very savvy internet users, but I've also seen that they usually hire someone (or have a friend) who does have the knowledge, and they keep the site running.
Same way with sports sites, at least the ones I am in competition with. Other than meta tags, they do nothing.
Well I don't have any competition in the UK but one really terrible site but unfortunately they are a big name in our trade. I have started to notice what my referrals are and I am going to write some sound articles around the search results. The thing that is upsetting me is the few members I do have are not posting :(, but I feel confident over time this will change.

It has steadily been rising. Looks like all of those are VBSEO pages and I believe non of my showpost pages are being shown in there because I took those out for about a week before deciding not to do that

Thanks. It shouldn't take long for others to catch up.
Oh man I hope. I'm still around 26k which once was 700k-900k :(
BamaStang I just was reading a post where you weren't going to install because of the encrypted nature of the coding. In this thread here it looks like you are talking about good stats, is this because of vbseo? :( I wish I could buy it, it's not fair that my interests are not acceptable in the EULA.
At first I was hesitant to buy it because of the encryption. I waited until others had ran it for a time period to see their thoughts and once I felt that others were happy with the way it behaved on their site I decided to give it a try.Originally Posted by 420boards
I am happy with it so far. Google has indexed my new pages and none of my old urls are showing up in a site: search. I have seen unique traffic from search engines climb each day as wellIn this thread here it looks like you are talking about good stats, is this because of vbseo? :( I wish I could buy it, it's not fair that my interests are not acceptable in the EULA.
