1st day of VBSEO installed

Google: 366 links (majority - 90% - not related to current forum - still indexing old site)
MSN: 1
Yahoo: 210 (only 2-5% related to our forum)

It has been almost a month...there is some changes but not much

Threads: 237, Posts: 649, Members: 27, Active Members: 27

Google: 1050
MSN: 300 (99% of links coming from Google ads syndicate - AdSense)
Yahoo: 495 (same story as above)

There is increase but not via established web sites. We use AdSense to generate some traffic and many links are coming from Google ads / from sites set for parking. The rest of related links is comming from articles we listed on social networks (digg etc....).

There is some increase in Google links but it is hard to tell if VBSEO is a reason. I guess next month will give us more facts to analyze traffic more preciselly.

One newbie question... where do you check these?

For example for Google I use 2 methods:
1. I type my domain into search
2. I type "site:domain.com/" into search for exact listing of links

Little update after few months (It was going up and down for a bit)

Google: 634 (direct listings) / 979 backlinks
MSN: 189 listings
Yahoo : 379 backlinks

fixed already. It was glitch on server side.

After over (few days over to be exact) a year, stats are as follow:

Google: 9,600
Yahoo: 209
MSN index: 5

we never cared/optimized for MSN & Yahoo so maybe that's why numbers for them are so low, but Google looks pretty good.

Now it is time to update to vbSEO 3.2.0 and we will see what is going to happen

well ...something is not going right

Yahoo: 2,127
Bing (former MSN): 12

what happened with Google? at some point we had 18,000 and now it is only 1,310 !

nothing was changed, and a lot post count increased.
We had ~1,000 indexed links with 237 threads.... now we still have ~1,000 indexed links with over thousand threads.

Any ideas?
