    Great site.

    Couple pointers:
I was able to get to your forum homepage via two URLs:
    /forum.php (PR3) & /forum (no PR)

You might want to fix it so that only one of them is reachable.

Another one, you might want to list all your subforums in your main page (perhaps below the "Off Topic" column) so that your homepage's PR is directly associated to these new "virtual" directories.

How do I fix the two urls?

Not sure what you mean regarding the subforums either, can you elaborate?

Do you mean just list out all of my forums on my homepage in a column underneath the "off topic" column?

    thanks

Ok, I think the one in the dropdown (that points to forum.php) is hardcoded in your templates (as it's not part of vB's default functionality). But that one is fine if you will have /forum changed to /forum.php

My guess it that you will want to point everything to /forum.php as opposed to /forum since you have some PR in the first one. Therefore, you'll need to update the following setting via your vB admincp: vBulletin Options > Forum URL

    From
    http://www.thewarpath.net/forum
    To
    http://www.thewarpath.net/forum.php

vBSEO uses this URL as a reference to force all other forumhome links to point to it.

Finally, add the following to your 'Homepage Aliases' setting (in vbseocp):
    forum.php?
    forum
    forum/

The above will redirect any dead links to the global forumhome URL as defined in your vB settings (/forum.php)

I've tried making that URL change in the admincp from /forum to /forum.php... But it then messes up all my images, how can I fix that?

Quick question regarding google analytics. I had analytics prior to installing vbseo. When I installed vbseo I went and edited my headerinclude to remove the analytics code, and I set up analytics through vbseo. Since then though I'm not getting any stats recorded, did I do something wrong or is it taking a few days for the reports to start generating again?

    Hello Matt,
if you had google analytics code embedded before, it should take the stats immediately. You should check your html source code to make sure the analytics code is inserted and double-check that analytics user-id is entered correctly in vbseocp.

Looks like I entered in my code format as UA-9999 when it should be UA-9999-1

Quick observation since my vbseo install on 7/21, my adsense has definitely seen a marked increase. My clickthrough rate and eCPM has increased significantly. I'll definitely be tracking this closely.

    Quick week 1 update:

    7/28/06

    Google: Results 1 - 10 of about 170,000 from thewarpath.net for . (0.45 seconds) (64 vbseo pages)

    Yahoo: 1 - 10 of about 63,500 from thewarpath.net (2240 vbseo pages)

MSN: Page 1 of 277 results containing site:thewarpath.net (0.79 seconds) (28 vbseo pages)

Yahoo seems to be re-indexing alot faster than google. I know it's early, but I'm pleased by the results so far.

Ohhh... sorry, the forum URL should be:
    http://www.thewarpath.net
and then, within the Forums Home Page Options set the "Script Name for Forum Home Page" to:
    forum
    That should work.
