    Just a question, what is the difference between organic and referral. And which is better, or does it not matter.
    In Google Analytics, if Google recognizes the referring site as a search engine, it will call it organic. If it doesn't know it's a search engine, it will call it a referral. In this case, dogpile can be considered organic.

    Here is an update. Been a while

    I am seeing regular Google, MSN, and yahoo in analytics. Google being my biggest now. Thanks again!

    Also, I don't think the integrated analytics is working in my vbseo for some reason. It isn't picking up when someone does not visit the homepage, but other pages. Any help on this would be appreciated. thanks again!

    OK, been a while again!

    Google = WAY UP
    MSN = UP
    Yahoo = UP

    Just one gripe now, not about the software don't worry! Ok, this just shows the power of myspace, what I am about to say. I have one thread with myspace layouts in the title! Needless to say vbseo indexed the thread in google, fast. It just so happens that there are millions of searches for this phrase a month on google. So, these myspace people start flocking to my site, a lot of them. They start becoming members and stuff, but they are not looking to post on the fishing forums. They are looking for layouts. So I made a new page on the site with myspace fishing layouts. They are all over myspace now and I have had about 75 members in the last 4 days sign up. It's incredible. I am going to start adding some more myspace stuff to the site just to keep these visitors there. Cause they are real people and can potentially be more traffic to my site. I just have to be carefull that they don't piss off the other members who do not use myspace. All in all, it has been a good experience so far. Thanks again vbseo. Your the best!

    Well I need some help on this one! Seems when google updated recently I went from PR2 to PR3. GREAT, right? Well a week later I am at PR0 with no google back links! I have no idea what's going on! I am in the process right now of running the vbseo sitemap generator with daily runs to help clarify to google that my site is very much alive! I have also lost some traffic because google now thinks I have just another podunk site, it's the exact opposite! Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
