Hi guys
I started my site in late July of this year and vbSEO was installed from the beginning.
Anyway, if this is alright, I'm going to post screenshots of my monthly referrals from Google.
Here's the first one with all of the Fridays marked...

Nice job. Don't be surprised if your Google referrals drop temporarily. Just keep pluggin away.
Nice domain, kinda surprised it was available. Or did you pick it up from someone?
Just to make sure we're on the same page, I'm talking about referrals from Google which is traffic/visitors. Not talking about the number of indexed pages.
For the past few years, Google has had a tendency to send traffic to a new website for an initial period and then send reduced amounts of traffic for a period. It's been referred to as a "GoogleBump". Read my site review and you'll see it happened to my site that had vbseo installed from the beginning and also had many other good things going for it.
Took me 4.5 months to finally get "established" in Google and some members here complain that they've not gotten to that point even after considerably longer periods of time.
The initial period when you get "some" referrals from Google seems to usually be around 1-3 months. The next period when most sites see "reduced" traffic from Google seems to vary from 1 month to forever. Not every new site goes thru these phases but most that I'm familar with do.
There are many possible factors that likely lead to how soon you see steady success. My guess is that your own personal level of SEO experience and expertise can make a huge difference. Other key factors will be the competition in your keyword space and the potential in your space.
So don't be surprised if your Google referrals drop temporarily. If you're doing everything right, you'll eventually come back and do better than ever.
Good luck, Ross
Nice work, looks like it's really taking off![]()
hi
right now i get around 600 visitors from Google everyday without any seo at my forum CoolAvenues MBA Forums.

Referrals from Google have dropped significantly. :(
Here are screenshots of September and October.
Update:
Looks like things are picking back up!
Here are screenshots of Google referrals for November, almost all of December, and the site's lifetime.
Nice thread - Stats look AWESOME!
[Edit: Google Analytics has very nice amount of info. - Finally finding out how valuable a resource it is for keeping track of site stats!]
Thanx,
Jacquii.
