    "Time spent downloading a page" in WebMaster tools

    Hi, i see this metric going allways up... no idea why
    my server is on argentina (grupoandroid.com) DNS is on Dreamhost (USA)

    my debug stats are like:
    Page Time: 0.25842 seconds
    Memory: 5,652 KB
    Queries: 30
    Templates: 67 (1 uncached)
    Server Load: 0.59 : 0.91 : 1.06
    im also using APC

    in Google webmaster Tools, under "Time spent downloading a page (in milliseconds)":
    High: 1,694
    Average: 990
    Low: 579


    any sugestions?

    Do your pages include any external content? Your debug stats won't be able to tell you if things like ads, or facebook/twitter widgets are loading slowly.

    hhhm, i actually do have ads, facebook integration and tweetboard :S

    500 as a low is pretty slow.

    150 on the low is a good number.


    WebPagetest

    run your site through there and try implementing some of the suggestions they offer.

    thanks, didnt know that site, seems like a have some slowdown on the DNS :(
