strange penalty (due to server problems?)

Hi,
my board is on key.mysite.it . I was in 1st google page for the key, but today the serp does not return the home of the subdomain or any major pages, only shows the archive. The google cache shows the message "server overload, try later" (I set it on 8.00 server load, and waiting a RAM upgrade...)

I think that googlebot "meet" too much times this message, and caused the penalty. I will not change anything (except improving my dedicated) and wait for the previous serp (do not panic is the first thing!).
What do you think?

For who could have the same problem:
- server ok now --> google cache updated --> main key already in 2nd page (and in progress).
Was a temporarly penalty due to connections problems
